Don Milligan , 82, of Los Alamos, died peacefully on February 1, 2020. He was born to Pete and Mary Milligan in Kansas City, Missouri, the youngest of three children. Don was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Worth; sister, Anna L.; son, Daniel and beloved wife, Sally. As a United States Navy Veteran (Korean War), Don was very passionate about helping veterans. Don loved his family and was incredibly proud of all of his children and grandchildren’s accomplishments. He enjoyed nothing more than having his family and friends around him, which they were until the end. Don is survived by his children, Mike (Brita), Tim (Tammy), Kelly, and Christy (Bruce), as well as his 9 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A private burial will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation is made to any charity supporting veterans. The family of Don Milligan has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
