Victoria (Vickie) Padilla

Victoria (Vickie) Padilla, 62, resident of Alcalde passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, April 4, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Padilla; parents, Rafael and Elena Lujan; brothers, Leroy Lujan, Gorgonio (Donna), Jerry (Gema) and sister, Belma Sandoval. Vickie is survived by her children, Steven (Liane) Padilla, Isabel and Juliet Padilla; grandchildren, Savannah (Carmen), Reina, Faith, Estrella, Izaiah, Marissa and Sofia; brothers and sisters, Mela (Robert) Romero, Ida (Lee) Berry, Arthur (Ada) Lujan and Johnny Lujan along with many other nieces and nephews. Vickie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, dancing and lighting up the room with her smiles and jokes. Vickie had a heart of gold, she took care of various family members and loved them dearly. Her doors were always open, and she never hesitated to help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by friends, family, community members and especially her grandchildren. Due to unforeseen circumstances regarding COVID19, services will be held at a later date and will be announced when they are scheduled. The family of Victoria (Vickie) Padilla has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
