Obituary

Nasario Lopez, age 87, a resident of Cordova, went with our Lord to his final resting place on Saturday January 9, 2021. Nasario was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Precide Lopez; children, David and Charlene Lopez; sister, Lillian Starski; brother-in-law’s, Wendell Frazier and Harry Williams and nephew Gary Cordova.
 
Nasario is survived by his daughters; Sandra Martinez and Margie (Larry) Pacheco; mother to his children, Cidelia Lopez; former spouse Francis Lopez (Eloy) ; grandchildren, Roxanne (Jed) Martinez, Lianne (Joseph) Torres, Joseph (April) Martinez, Matthew and Mariah Pacheco, Jude (Erika) Montoya, Leon (Danielle) Lopez and Mark (Aundrea) Montoya; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Trez, Madison, Adrian, Kiana, Rocky, Alyc, Dominik, Isabel, David, Bryson and Landon; sisters, Gloria (Herminio) Cordova and Ermelinda Frazier Williams;  godson, Rafael Cordova and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.
A big thank you to his caretaker, Elena O. Trujillo and care coordinating team Karla Gonzales and Gary Gonzales.
 
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held with burial to follow at Cordova Catholic Cemetery.  The Family of Nasario Lopez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley 505-747-7477
