Mary Judy Roybal

d. December 31, 2019

Mary Judy Roybal , 64, a resident of El Rancho, who grew up in Nambe, and graduated from Pojoaque High School. Mary Judy was born on January 15, 1955 to Mary R. Zamora and Seferino Martinez. She passed away to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on December 31, 2019.

Our beloved Mary Judy has gone home to rest leaving many loved ones behind. She will be deeply missed. She was a wonderful and the most loving, selfless, caring, supportive, positive, kindest, happiest, genuine souls on earth who loved with all her heart! She was truly “A Beautiful, One of a Kind” person. She was always smiling, hugging, laughing, joking, taking pictures and enjoying life. She was devoted to the lord, her family and friends with so many amazing moments and memories. Although she was a petite woman, her presence was always felt in a large way.

After graduating from Pojoaque High school, she started working at Los Alamos National Laboratory. She enjoyed a long career and retired after 34 years. She then spent as much time as she could with her grandson Isaiah, who she called her little hito. Once Isaiah was older, she re-entered the work force and started working for the State of New Mexico. And then came her second grandson Elijah who she called her little little hito. She was the ultimate NANA to her grandkids. Her heart was filled with so much love for all the friends and family she acquired through her life.

Mary Judy was taken way too soon; however, we know she was greeted in Heaven by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Mary R. Zamora, father, Seferino Martinez, grandparents, Juan and Ignacita Zamora; brothers, Peter Zamora and Michael A. Jimenez; sister, Louise (Lisa) Enriques; nieces, Elvira Enriques, Lisa Roybal, Sandra Roybal; father-in-law, Aaron Roybal; mother-in-law, Veronica Roybal and many other loved ones

Mary Judy is survived by her husband, David Roybal of El Rancho; sister, Dorothy Romero and husband Joe (Jimmy) of Nambe; son, David Roybal, Jr.; daughter, Veronica Martin and husband Herschel Martin; grandkids, Isaiah Michael-Kevon Martin and Elijah Marcus Martin and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces and many other family members and friends.
