Margaret Sisneros

MARGARET L. SISNEROS, 74, a resident of El Guache, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark James Sisneros; parents, Manuel Antonio Medina and Pomocena Medina; in-laws, Anastacio and Roberta Sisneros; brothers, Abedon, Gilbert, Guillermo and Robert Medina; sister, Eufelia Sisneros; sister-in-law, Genovieve Pignoni; brothers-in-law, Pancracio Rael, Anastacio Sisneros, Jr., Orlando Borrego and Sisto Garcia. Mrs. Sisneros is survived by her husband, Joe Cecelio Sisneros; daughters, Roberta Madrid and husband Pete and Cathy Sisneros and husband Luis Gurule; grandson, Jacob Madrid; granddaughter raised by her, Markie J. Sisneros; great-granddaughter, Jane Gonzales; beloved pet doggie, Zena; sisters, Sally Borrego, Angie Leah Garcia and Nettie Alarid and husband Jerry; brother, Tony Medina; sisters-in-law, Viola Sisneros-Rael and Rosina Baca and husband Gabe; brother-in-law, Augustine Pignoni; God-children, Marcia Baca, Elaine Medina, Yvette Veronica Martinez Lozoya, Andy Archuleta, Sandra Diaz and Markie J. Sisneros and many special nieces, nephews and very close friends. Margaret was a devoted wife and mother; she loved her family dearly. She also loved to cook and made the best red chili around. Margaret opened several businesses in Española including Mr. Ice Cream and Margaret’s Fashion in Lace. She also worked for many years at Fairview Pharmacy and later in life as a caregiver for Amigos del Valle, where she was loved by all her viejitos. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh, with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Due to Coved 19 Restrictions 80 people will be allowed in the Church. The family of Margaret L.
