Lucy Trujillo

LUCY G. TRUJILLO, 91, a resident of Abiquiu, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, April 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Manuel Trujillo; parents, Isabelita and Pedro Garcia; adopted parents, Aurelia and Simon Martinez; siblings, Fidel Garcia, Vidal Martinez, Rose Archuleta-Lopez, Oswaldo Martinez, Simon Martinez, Gerrie Martinez; nephew, Manuel Salazar; children, Martin, Ben and Pedro (infant son) Trujillo; grandchildren, Jose (who she raised) and William Lopez, Emily Trujillo (infant) and longtime companion, Robert Suazo. Lucy is survived by her children, Annabel (Dion) Koen, Lucinda (Donald) Martinez, Willie Trujillo (companion, Elaine), Ruby Trujillo, Myra (Joseph) Lopez, Fidel (Brenda) Trujillo, Reyes Trujillo, Maria (Joseph) Turner, Arnold Suazo and Vangie Suazo Lopez; sister-in-law, Rafaelita Martinez; special former daughters-in-law, Brenda Smith and Grace Garcia; friend, Shirley Suazo; 2 grandchildren she raised, Ralph Trujillo and Roberta Salazar; 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. We unfortunately will not be having an immediate service due to the circumstances of COVID-19. When this difficult time passes, we will announce the services. We would like to thank each and everyone for the love and support we continue to receive. We would also like to thank Española Ambercare hospice and Los Alamos hospice for the help and care they provided. The family of Lucy G. Trujillo has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
