Lorenzo Martin Indio Barker, 32, a resident of the Pueblo of Pojoaque, was born on February 22, 1985 and passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Frank Barker; father, Martin Realivazquez; God-father, Honorable Jacob Viarrial; great-grandparents, Fermin and Feliciana Viarrial; grandmother, Frances E. Viarrial and grandparents, Tom and Lorencita Romero; brother, Ezekiel Sandoval and sister Keitha Ashford. Lorenzo is survived by his son, Denon Barker; mother of his son, Arielle Romero; mothers, Maria Angie Viarrial-Petrovich and Sandra A. Romero; brother, Governor Joseph Talachy (Beatriz) and Ernest Romero (Camille); God-mother, Laura Iturralde; sisters, Melanie Padilla and Anna Garcia (Norberto); nieces, Samantha Still (Robert), Alyssa Spanarkel, Bernice, Aubrianna, Feliciana and Isabella Talachy and Aubrianna Rose Padilla; nephews, Carlos Trujillo (Vanessa), Nevin Gutierrez, Ryley Gomez and many other relatives, friends, aunts, uncles and cousins from the Pueblo of Pojoaque. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with the rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Feliciana Viarrial Dream Chapel in the Pueblo of Pojoaque with the burial to follow at the Pojoaque Catholic Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers are Charles Quintana, Ernest Romero, Robert Casaus, Hugo Lopez, Carlos Trujillo, and Edward Gomez. Honorary pallbearers are Ruben Martinez, Samuel Fletcher, and Isabelle Realivazquez. The family of Lorenzo Martin Indio Barker has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. .
