LARRY “LA PAJARA” HERRERA, 74, a resident of La Petaca, suddenly taken form this life on Monday, March 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Herrera; parents, Alex and Edumenia Herrera; step-son, Antonio Lujan, sisters, Felonise Vigil, Lillian Barela, Lovieda Martinez, Adelma Esquibel; and brother, George Berry. Larry “La Pajara” was a huge hearted man, he helped everyone he could even those that were beyond help, but he tried. He showed many how to be men. He showed compassion and love to all he touched. He will be greatly missed by all far and near but always know he will always be right here in your heart. Larry is survived by his daughter, Sandra Herrera (Shane), son, Isidoro Herrera; step-children, Yvonne Kessinger, Anita Torrez, Crystal Mondragon, Brian Lujan, Felicia Sparks, brother, Louie Berry (Julie) 23 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many extended family and friends. Public visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Rosary will be held on April 14, 2021 at Larry's residence in La Petaca at 10:00 am and burial to follow at La Petaca Cemetery.
