It is with great sadness, that we announce the loss of our beloved, JUANITO ARCHULETA, of Chimayo on Saturday, October 3, 2020. He has gone to be with his Heavenly Father at the young age of 44 years. Anyone who had the opportunity to spend time with Juanito would say that he was a very humble person. He made conversation with everyone, everywhere he went. Juanito was preceded in death by his father, Johnny O. Archuleta; grandparents, Fidel and Octavina Archuleta, and aunt, Toni Trujillo all of Abiquiu; grandparents, Ignacio and Adelia Trujillo; brother, Gaylord Trujillo; nephew, Rickie Burrell; aunt, Anabel Gonzalez; uncle, Michael Trujillo all of Chimayo; Godfather, Howdy Vigil of El Guache. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Margie Benavidez; his common law wife of 11 years, Nicky Gonzalez; his four siblings, Cindy Burrell, Eugene Burrell, Manuel Benavidez, Michelle Maldonado (Enrique); Godmother, Loretta Duran; aunts, Evelyn Baca (Orlando), Angie Lopez (Lalo), Annie Valdez (Eli), Connie Archuleta, Bae Lang, Sally Chaff (Henry); uncle, Jerry Trujillo. Juanito will be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. The family of Juanito is extremely grateful for all the thoughts, prayers, and generous donations that have been received during this grief-stricken time. A service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00 am. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Truth Ministries Calvary Chapel in Arroyo Seco. Due to COVID-19, masks must be worn for all services. The family of Juanito Archuleta has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
