Juan Cordova

Juan de Dios Cordova left this earth on December 21, 2020 losing his battle to Covid19.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Eloy and Lugardita Cordova, brothers Alfonzo, Harry, Walter and Donald Lee Cordova.

Juan was a heavy equipment operator in Los Alamos, and for OR communications. He was a very talented worker. He was a father to 3 sons, and a grandfather to 3 beautiful grandchildren. He will be missed by all his family, and friends. Juan never refused to help anyone in need. Juan always said read the word daily, for your health, your happiness and your spirit. A favorite was:

Juan is survived by his sons: Juan, Eloy (Lourdes) and Jesse Cordova, grandchildren Maya, Logan and Jessica. Brothers and sisters: Nelson (Eva), Nestor (Patsy), Nora (Santiago) and Brenda, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on January 13, 2021 at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish in Chimayo NM with burial to follow at the Cordova Catholic cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Juan Cordova, Jonathan Martinez, Jesse Cordova, Nelson Cordova, Andrew Martinez and Brian Martinez, honorary pallbearers are all his grandchildren, close cousin like a brother Matthew Cordova, and close cousin Sandra Cordova, close friends Orlene Cordova, Sabinita Ortiz and all his bother-in-laws and sisters-in-laws’, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
