JOE ROBERT PACHECO, 82, was born July 7, 1937 and was called home by his creator on October 18, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Onesimo Pacheco Sr. and Evangelin A. Pacheco, J.O. Pacheco Jr., Porfie and Lydia Fernandez, Corelia Pacheco, Billy Pacheco, J.A. Fernandez, Amado Martinez, and Paul and Leo Fernandez. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Zamora (Rodney); sisters, Irene Fernandez, and Helen P. Martinez; brothers, Willie Pacheco (Rafelita), Larry Pacheco and Margie, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbors. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Serving the family as honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughter, Danielle Pacheco, and good friends, Thomas Sandoval and Ruth Sandoval.
