JAMES RAY ARTHUR GARCIA, 29, a resident of Española, our beloved son, brother and friend passed away suddenly on November 25, 2020. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Rodriguez, Jr.; his Popo, Arthur Ortiz; grandmothers, Teresita Hayes and Delfinia V. Garcia; aunt, Gloria Soya Ortiz. James grew up in Española where he devoted his time and energy working and enjoying riding his motorcycle, along with sharing and helping with knowledge of welding. He was truly amazing at everything he did. He had so many talents and hobbies, he loved his guns, hot wheels, Pokémon cards, Legos and so much more. He was so full of life, kind, loving, talented with an amazing sense of humor, always laughing and doing impressions, making others laugh, showing his beautiful and contagious smile with a laugh you’ll never forget. James and his sister, Victoria they were always together they were partners in crime they were like twins. James was so loved and adored by many. Mr. Garcia is survived by his father, Arthur R. Garcia; mother, Rita Rodriguez Garcia; sisters, Victoria R. Garcia, Paula (Javier) Cabrera; nana, Cecilia Ortiz; uncle, Richard Ortiz; aunt, Theresa McDermitt (Shorty, deceased); many uncles, aunts; 2 nephews, cousins and friends. He had special cousins who played a very supported role in his life, Eugene (Joshlyn) Ortiz and Theresa Herrera aka Missy (Ken, deceased) and Janet Reeves, a very special aunt to us; close friends, Chad Luse, Tommy Cordova, Anthony Romano, Frankie Garcia, Eric Martinez and to the ones we missed, I couldn’t name you all, you know who you are. James will always be loved and dearly missed. Due to COVID-19, private services will be held.
