Gina "Annette" Vigil

GINA “ANNETTE” VIGIL , 57, a resident of Española, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Antonio Anaya; sister, Julie Romero; step-father, Julian Ortiz; step-brother, Timmy Ortiz; uncle who was like a brother, Ronnie A. Vigil; maternal grandparents, Alfredo and Nellie Vigil and paternal grandparents, Antonio and Juanita Anaya. She was employed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Budget Analyst. She was currently a caregiver and cared for her disabled mom. She is survived by her children, Lori Cole and husband Lee of Santa Fe, Ronnie Vigil and wife Karen of Española and Angel Vigil of Española; mother; Joann Ortiz, sister, Denise Trujillo of Española; grandchildren, Jaci, Nikki, Lee Andrew, Izrael and Arsenio Cole, Leandra, Malachi and Jordan Vigil; Goddaughter, Cassandra Trujillo and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends whom she loved dearly. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory and Rosary on Thursday April 15, 2021 at 10:30 at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in San Juan Pueblo with a Mass to follow at 11:00 also at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in San Juan Pueblo with Burial to follow at La Villita Catholic Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers, Lee Andrew, Jaci, Nikki, Izrael and Arsenio Cole and Malachi, Leandra and Jordan Vigil. The family of Gina “Annette” Vigil has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
