Geraldine (Geri) Miera

Geraldine (Geri) Miera (74) was born July 22, 1947. She was a resident of San Pedro. Geri went to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday September 6, 2021. Geri was the most beautiful mother, grandmother, relative, and friend. She lived a long and beautiful life and made every moment worth living. She was a sweet selfless soul with a kind loving heart. Geri cherished her faith and expressed her love for the Lord on a daily basis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe A. and Josie Q. Martinez; sister, Dolores Velarde; grandparents, Amarante and Ramoncita Quintana and Alfredo and Margarita Martinez, grandson, Richard Martinez; uncles, Ed Sauer and Rocky Newton; aunts, Gertrude Sauer & Eulalia Newton; nephew, Thomas Derick Velarde.

Geri is survived by her three children, Edward Brian Miera and fiancé Yvette, Monica and husband, Daniel Duran and Jolene Miera. Her many beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family members. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 10:15 a.m. at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz with a memorial mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
