Epimenio Lucero

Epimenio L. Lucero (Pepper) age 76 from Canones passed away on Sunday July 4, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Luis and Adelida Lucero. His brothers; Miguel and Cristobal Lucero, and Jose Dolores Vilpando. His sisters; Anita Serrano, Olivama Gallegos, Adalia Vilpando, Celia Lucero, and his daughter Tina Salazar.

He is survived by his sons; Luis and wife Florence Lucero, Levi and companion Monica, Jose and companion Roxanne, and his daughter Cora Lucero. Mother of his children Benita Lucero. Grandchildren; Luis and Nevaeh Lucero, Ashlin and Caitlin Lorenzo, Judith Strait, Freddy and Andrea Salazar. 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Claudina Salazar. Special nephews; Felipe Salazar, Jose Leon Serrano, Michael and Leroy Gonzales. Close friend Eusevio Manzanares and cousin Merejildo Velasquez. His coffee drinking buddies Rosa Gonzales and Virginia Vilpando and many other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be his sons Luis, Levi and Jose Lucero. Honorary pallbearers are Felipe Salazar, Jose Leon Serrano, Toby and Joseph Sandoval and all of his grandchildren.

Rosary will be prayed on Friday, August 6th, 2021 at 10:00 am with mass to follow at 11:00 am at the Santo Tomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu, with burial to follow at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery in Canones.
