Cynthia Davis

Cynthia Donna (Quintana) Davis, 56, of Alcalde passed away peacefully at her home in Albuquerque, NM on May 6, 2021.

Cynthia was in October of 1964 in Santa Fe, NM. She graduated from Espanola Valley high school in 1982. Immediately after she then joined the job corps, considered the Peace Corps, and eventually enlisted in the United States Army. She was faithful and devout as a member of the Holy Cross Church where she frequently volunteered her time. She could always be found tinkering in her dad‘s garage or laughing at old TV shows. She was known to light up whatever room she walked into with a smile that touched her ears. A lover of classic cars, gardening, and a good romance novel, she will be missed.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her beloved brother Louis and her uncles Joe and Alfred. She is survived by her children Natasha Terri, Curtis Jr, and Antonietta Marie “Ninnie”; her parents- Silviano and Elsie Quintana of Alcalde, NM; siblings- Chris, Terry, Alex, Jeanette and Della; Dear Friend and father of her children- Curtis Davis Sr of Newark, NJ; one granddaughter and a host of family and friends.

A rosary will be said in her honor on May 20, 2021 at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz at 10:00 a.m., with a Mass of follow. Serving as honorary pallbearers are her much loved nieces and nephews- Desiree, Amber, Gaby, Cruz, Selena, Jeremy “Little Dude” and her beloved goddaughter Savannah
