Charles Hite

Charles Peter Michael Hite, 3, a resident of La Madera, born on June 11, 2016, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.

Charlie’s bright smile and beautiful eyes were adored by everyone that was blessed to have known him. Though his time here on earth was far too brief, his memory lives on in the hearts of his loving family. Charlie is the cherished son of his Momma Liza and Daddy Pete Hite, and is the beloved brother of Wesley Hite, his “bubba”. He is greeted in heaven by his paternal great-grandmother Mabel “Grandma Marble” Young, maternal great-grandmother Rosa Garcia, maternal grandparents Grandma Martha and Grampo Lionel Garcia, paternal grandfather William “Papa” Hite, uncle Michael Garcia, and aunt Martina Garcia. In addition to his parents and brother, Charlie is survived by his paternal grandmother Carol “Landly” Hite of La Madera, aunts and uncles Johnna Montoya (Joel) of White Rock, Santo Arrieta (Stephanie) of Albuquerque, Tommy Barela (Angela) of Grants, Lionel Garcia (Louise) of Arroyo Seco, Felipe Garcia of Chimayo, Andrew Garcia of Chimayo, Paul Hite (Virginie) of Hollywood, FL, David Hite (Terra) of Los Alamos, his godfather Antonio Garcia, and many great-aunts, uncles, and cousins. A rosary will be recited on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. The family of Charles Hite has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory.
