Brandon J. Garcia, 45, a lifelong resident of San Pedro, has passed away on January 13, 2021 following a short illness. Brandon attended Sombrillo Elementary as well as Holy Cross. Graduating from St. Catherine’s with the Class of 1995. He was well known for the way he played basketball and ran cross country. Brandon was very talented in so many ways, whether it be plumbing and electrical. You name it, he knew it and how to do it. He was always the life of the party and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Brandon was preceded in death by his father Joseph (Mado) Garcia, his paternal grandparents Feliciano and Adelina Garcia, maternal grandfather George M. Martinez. Brandon is survived by his mother Angela Garcia, his daughter Kaitlin Garcia, the mother of his daughter Selina Branch. His brother — Roland Joseph Garcia, sisters —Cynthia (Cindy) Martinez, Winterbrooke Garcia and Gilbert Marrufo Jr., Maitai and fiancé Brandon Lopez. Maternal grandmother Cleo Martinez of Velarde. Goddaughters Ashlynn Garcia and Alexiyah Lopez. Nephews and nieces — Marcos and Chanell Garcia, Zachary, Angelique and Derek Martinez, Josselynn and Ashlynn Garcia, Gilbert and Alicia Marrufo, Brandon Jr, Amiyah and Alexiyah Lopez, Santiago Garcia. Close friends — David Martinez and Fabian Quintana. He is also survived by his mother’s sister at heart Amelia and husband Teofilo Martinez, along with numerous aunts and uncles.  A rosary will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 10:15 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada in Santa Cruz, with a Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. and burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers Roland Garcia, Tommy Maestas, Cynthia (Cindy) and Zachary Martinez, Winterbrooke Garcia, Gilbert Marrufo III, Maitai Garcia, and Brandon Lopez. Honorary pallbearers include all his nieces and nephews, Fabian Quintana, Teofilo Martinez, Jimmy E. Quintana. Services will be streamed live on Facebook @ Santa Cruz Espanola and  Espanola Parish You Tube. The family of Brandon J.
