Bertha Gasca

Bertha Gasca of La Mesilla was carried home in the arms of the Angels to be in God’s glory on April 13, 2022.

She was born on April 22, 1944, to Celestino and Candelaria Sisneros in Las Tablas, NM. She moved to Velarde, NM in the late 70's where she raised her children.

She is preceded in death by her children Miguel & Yvonne Gasca, Parents: Celestino & Cadelaria Sisneros, Brother: Eppie Sisneros, Niece: Celeste Sisneros & Father of her children Horace Gasca.

She is survived by her Grandchildren: Alexis (Sandra) Martinez, Jesus & Rosabella Gasca, Daughter in-law: Kim Gasca, Sister: Karen Martinez, Brothers: Faustino (Lucy) Sisneros, Johnny (Ruby) Sisneros, Herman Sisneros, Danny Sisneros, Nieces: Lisa, Brianna, Nichole, Brook & Alice  God Daughter Angelica (Randy) Vigil and many other nieces, nephews, Jim (Dolores) Sisneros as well as other, relatives and dear friends.

Pallbearers are Jesus & Rosabella Gasca, Honorary Pallbearers are Alexis Martinez, Angelica Vigil, Anabell Gasca, Faustino Sisneros, Danny Sisneros, Jim Sisneros, Herman Sisneros & Johnny Sisneros

Public visitation will  be on April 28, 2022  at 6:30 pm with rosary to follow at 7:00 pm at the DeVargas Funeral Home of Espanola. Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde.
