Arsenio Wayne Brito, 56 a resident of Velarde, New Mexico joined our Heavenly Father on Friday, February 5, 2021. Wayne is preceded in death by his father Arsenio “Archie” Brito, Father-in-law Bernardo Valdez Sr. and several other family members.

Wayne was born and raised in Questa, New Mexico. His love of music led him to Velarde where he met his wife and started his family. In his early career he spent 10 years serving as a City of Espanola Police Officer. During that time, he also loved working the earth with heavy equipment, which included running B & B Trucking. After selling his trucking business in 2005, he joined the Centerra Pro Force (LANL) where he spent the last 15 years of his life working to protect our National Laboratory.

Wayne was an amazing man that enjoyed all that life had to offer. He was kindhearted and had a place in his heart for every person that crossed his path. He was always on the go lending a helping hand, having a laugh, or enjoying a cold beer. He loved being outdoors, whether he was camping, fishing or on Razor rides with his family and friends. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His contagious laugh and wonderful smile will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
