ANGELA M. VASQUEZ-TRUJILLO , 36, a resident of Medanales, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Angela was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Trujillo “Gordo”; paternal grandparents, Sacramento Vasquez and Elovarda Hernandez; maternal grandparents, Sabiniano and Angelina Lovato; aunts, Clara Balderrama, and Elvira Vasquez; uncles, Joe L. Ulibarri, and Martin Vasquez; cousins, Antonio Vasquez, Jr., Diana Salazar, Bobby Salazar, John Salazar, and Patrick Vargas; God-father, Asisclo Jacquez and other beloved family and friends. Angela attended New Mexico Job Corp in Albuquerque where she earned her GED, High School Diploma, and CNA degree. She furthered her education by taking online classes to earn her LPN. Angela was a kind and loving person who dedicated her life to her husband and children. She enjoyed helping and caring for others, (especially the elderly and anyone in need). Angela is remembered by her great personality, and sense of humor that would light up a room. She loved the outdoors, camping, boating, fishing, and hunting with her family and friends. Angela is survived by her husband, Julian Trujillo; her children, Jeremy Trujillo (Alize), Marisa and Mia Trujillo; parents, Angel and Annie Vasquez; sister, Nancy Vasquez (Rogelio); brother, Adam Vasquez; father-in-law, Raymond Trujillo; mother-in-law, Suzie Montoya (Florencio); brothers-in-law, Curtis Trujillo, and Darren Trujillo (Monica); niece, Isabela Lizama; nephew, Horacio Lizama; aunts, Adelires (Anselmo) Jacquez, Connie Salazar, Adelia (Luis) Montoya, Rosenda (Miguel) Montoya, Martha (Lonisio) Vialpando, Bonnie (Monte) Miranda, Delfinia Lovato Lovato (Conrad), Fernanda Lovato (Tim), Terry Lovato, Jovita (Adrian), Nieves (Antonio), Rosa (Jorge), Carmela (Noel), and Jesusa; uncles, Frank Lovato, Emilio Lovato, Sabiniano (Elaine) Lobato, Antonio Vasquez, Sr., Juan Vasquez; God-mother, Teresa Jaramillo; a special cousin she considered a brother, Alberto Vasquez and numerous  other relatives and special friends. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a devotional service to follow at 2:30 p.m. The Vasquez family would like to thank all of our family and friends and neighbors for their prayers, support and food during this very difficult time. A deep appreciation to James Martinez, Isaiah Garcia and the staff at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. A special thanks to Pastor JD Miera for always being there in our time of need.
