Amada Villareal, 95, a resident of Fairview passed away peacefully on November 24, 2020. She was born in Cuarteles, NM on September 4, 1925.

Amada graduated from Santa Cruz High School and worked as a technician for the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory for 15 years prior to starting her family. She then became a homemaker and dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She was a sweet, kind and gentle soul who is already missed, and will forever be our Guardian Angel.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ascension and Esther Martinez; husband, Julian; siblings Dilia, Rubel, Ermie, Isabel (Johnny) and Rose, as well as other relatives.

Amada is survived by her sons Charlie (Ruby Ann), David, Phillip (Sylvia); daughters Esther Martinez (Larry), and Edna. She is also survived by her grandchildren Carlos, Christina, Karen, Clarissa, Megan, Lianne, Miranda, and Jerome (Venus); great-grandchildren Isaiah and Jourdyn; sister Adelina Quintana (Tony-deceased); sisters-in-law Laura Martinez and Clarabelle Villareal, and brothers-in-law Gilbert Martinez and Gilbert Villareal (Jane). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

The Villareal and Martinez families would like to thank all of our relatives, friends and neighbors who provided support and prayers during this difficult time. We also offer special thanks to all her loving caregivers, the priests and staff at Holy Cross Church, and DeVargas Funeral home. Private services will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
