\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n WARREN JOSEPH DRISCOLL, 92, a resident of La Mesilla, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 following a lengthy illness. He served in the U.S. Army, European Theater of Operations from 1942 – 1945. He also served in six campaigns of WWII - Air Offensive – Normandy – Rhineland – Northern France – Ardennes – Central Europe. He was a retired electrician and was a 50 year member of IBEW, Local 583 and past president in El Paso, Texas. He was a member of the retired electricians 611 in Albuquerque, worked for Zia Corporation, Apollo Site, White Sands and Plutonium Reduction in Los Alamos. Mr. Driscoll is survived by his wife, Doris Driscoll of La Mesilla; children, Diane Doris Zimmer and husband Harry of Dallas, Texas, Donald Warren Driscoll and wife Marlis of Kona, Hawaii and James Stephen Driscoll and wife Joanne of El Paso, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. Services are pending. In lieu of flowers family requests memorial contributions to Santa Cruz United Methodist Church or Amigos del Valle. The Driscoll family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. \r\n
