Walter David

Walter Roy David, 87, a resident of La Mesilla, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen David; nieces and nephews, Helen Dowdy (Monty) of Colorado and Leslie Hennigh. Fishing always brought Walter joy and he always loved different types of artwork. His own artwork lit up a room like no other. He was a very caring, trustworthy, hardworking man who always put his family first. Walter is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann David; son, Frank David; grandchildren, Seth, Hadon and Presley; sister, Lucille Hennigh Nephews Herb, Wendell, Lonnie and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 12:45 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Serving the family as a pallbearer will be Frank David.
