Virginia (Gina) Maria Vialpando 67 of Canones was called home and carried by the Angels to Heaven on December 17, 2022. Virginia was born May 21, 1955, in Canones to Jose D Vialpando and Viviana Jaramillo. She was a mother to all she knew. Virginia was born and raised in Canones and she loved her family and community. After the passing of her mother, and at a young age she was called to care for her brothers and sisters. It is with this loving heart that this was the beginning of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, tia, and just a loving soul to all who knew her. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, she enjoyed most anything as long as it was outdoors. She also enjoyed making a home cooked meal for anybody she thought might need it “or just because you looked hungry.”

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Jose D Vialpando and Viviana Jaramillo, Brother Ramon Jaramillo and Sister Adela Martinez. She is survived by best friend and life partner Greg Trujillo, Children Jose Vialpando (Sarah), Arnold Trujillo, Donna Trujillo, Genevieve Trujillo (John), and Corrine Trujillo, Brothers Ricardo Vialpando (Elvia), Lonisio Vialpando (Martha), Sisters Becky Lovato, Ramona Raya (Jose Luis), Lorraine Sanchez (Francisco), special sister in law Juanita Vialpando and brother Mark Neuman, grandchildren Jonathan Lopez-Vialpando, Joshua Lopez-Vialpando, Jerrick Lopez-Vialpando, Adam Vialpando, Aspen Vialpando, Catalina Trujillo, Patrick Gallegos, Carlos Atencio Jr, Karizzma Flores, Jesus, Jaden, Mia. Special nieces Cynthia Garcia (Angelo), Vivian Martinez (Leonard), and Christina Guerrero (Miguel) and her hijado Lonisio (Lonny) Vialpando and countless family and friends she held near and dear to her heart.

Services will begin on Tuesday January 3, 2023, with a public visitation to begin at 6:00 pm in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory and Rosary to start at 7:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be on January 4, 2023, at 11:00 am at San Miguel Catholic Church in Canones with burial to follow at the Canones Community Cemetery with the following serving as Pallbearers, John Grant, Manuel Raya, Wilfred Vialpando, Noel Vialpando, James Martinez, Bobby Lovato, Fritos Lovato, Angelo Garcia Jr, Robert Gallegos, Adrian Raya, and Nolan Sanchez. Honorary Pallbearers are Angelo Garcia Sr. and her loving Grandchildren.
