Viola Baca

VIOLA MARIE BACA , 81, a resident of Santa Clara Pueblo, a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt started her journey on December 11, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Pasqualita Baca; brothers, Joseph, William, and Leon Baca; sisters, Helen, Catherine, Matilda, Reycita, and Alice Baca. Viola was born in Santa Clara Pueblo on April 27, 1939. Viola lived a long happy life once working at Presbyterian hospital, also was an assistant head start teacher, and a casino beverage server. She loved going to the casino, playing bingo, and trips with the senior center. She spent most of her time with family, filled with jokes and laughter. Viola is survived by her children, Lourdes Talachy (Adam), Simon Baca (Rena), Doreen Baca-Frenier (Will), and Nathaniel Baca; grandchildren, Taneshia, Brandi, Jerrica, Lawrence, Jarren, Karen, Sienna, Ladarin, Ivy and Antonita; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Kika, Terrance, Cyrus, Azariyah, Kymarah, Kyleah, Kayde, and Leaira. She also survived by close nieces, Elsie, Faye, Mary and Vida; close nephews, Joseph, Steve and Anthony Baca, and numerous relatives. Viola will forever be loved and truly missed.
