Vicente Maestas

Vicente Maestas, 42, a resident of Chama, NM, formerly of Hernandez, NM, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024. 

Vicente was a loving father and he enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping and fishing. He was an avid Broncos fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the love of his life Linda Maestas. Vicente will be remembered for his caring nature, always helping others, his selfless generosity, and his sense of humor, always bringing a smile to the faces of those around him. 

Vicente was preceded in death by his Father Jacob Michael Maestas, his brothers, Michael, Jacob, and Charlie Maestas. As well as grandparents, Jacobo and Lydia Maestas; Grandmother, Susan Batista; Great Grandmother, Elena Gallegos; and Padrino, John Gallegos. 

He is survived by partner Linda Maestas;  daughters Dominique and Mckaylah; son Vicente, and his granddaughter Zira Jade Maestas. He is also survived by his mother Joann Maestas; sisters Michelle Archuleta (Gene) and Bobbie Jo Maestas; his brother Mikel; as well as many more family members and individuals whom he loved dearly. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 12:00 PM in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM.  Burial to follow immediately after at San Jose Cemetery in Hernandez, NM.
