Ursusinia "Susie" Espinoza

Ursusinia (Susie) Espinoza, age 85 of Espanola, passed away on January 17, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Susie was a wonderful mother, grandma, sister and aunt. She enjoyed being with family and friends. She was a very feisty woman and would tell you how it was and at the same time she was a very loving person.  We will always cherish and love all the memories we shared with her and keep her spirit alive with us.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nacor Espinoza, daughters Karla Romero, Ruthann DeHerrera and Monica Espinoza, son Rudy Garcia, grandkids Kayla Trujillo, Chanci Espinoza, Blade Espinoza, Her parents Medardo and Octabiana Garcia, brothers Medardo and Mateo Garcia, sister Sylvia Marker and other loving family.

She is survived by her daughters, Arlene Espinoza (Jamie), Mayo Martinez (Trapper), and Nicky Gonzales (Vince), grandsons raised as her own, Carlos, Armando, and Brandon Gonzales, a very special grandson Fernando Trujillo, sisters Marcella Garcia, Juanita Vialpando, Eliza Montoya (Norman), and Ramona Morfin (Jose)  

A public visitation will be held on Saturday January 21, 2023, at 10:00 am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Faith Church in Espanola. Burial will follow at La Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde.

With the following serving as pallbearers: Carlos, Armando, Brandon Gonzales, Melachi Trujillo, Johnny DeVargas, Noel Vialpando, Jesse Archuleta, and DJ Trujillo
