Ursulita Agnes Martinez

Urs A. Martinez, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024, in Medanales, NM. Ursula was born on June 17, 1940, to Dolores Vigil and Benito Moya in Youngsville, NM. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Benny Moya, son Reve Martinez, an infant son and daughter, nephews Lonnie and Norman Martinez, and son-in-law Edwin Velasquez.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Art Martinez, and their children: Christine Velasquez, Diana Martinez (David Lopez), Wilma Woollard (Red), Sandra Martinez, and Debbie Martinez (Alex). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, her siblings Eloida Martinez, Bertha Romero and Eppie Vigil, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

We will miss her dearly but take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in her forever home with her Father in heaven. 

A funeral service will take place at El Buen Pastor church in Espanola, NM on Sunday, June, 30, 2024, at 4:00 pm. El Buen Pastor church is located at 609 Calle Rivera Espanola, NM 87532.
