Tony C. (MR.) - Age 59 - El Duende Martinez

Tony C. Martinez, (MR.), 59, a resident of El Duende Passed away Peacefully Aug. 6, 2010 after a battle with Cancer. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Edwardo and Luisita Martinez; and his wife Constancia Connie Vigil. Tony was a life long rancher and logger who enjoyed spending time with his family at their ranch and training horses. Tony is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Martinez; Tomasita Martinez, Higinia Vigil-Martinez and companion Andrew Padilla; son, Tony Martinez and companion Brittany Austin all of El Duende; grandchildren Samantha Lopez, Angelik Galvan, Moritz Lopez, Amber and Dustin Martinez, and Andrew Padilla, brother, Erminio Martinez of El Duende; sisters, Mary Martinez of Hernandez, and Rosel Martinez of Chamita. Numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez. Burial will follow at the Coyote Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Peter Salazar, Mauricio Sanchez, Andrew Padilla, Benavides Garcia, Dennis Padilla and Heath Law. Honoary pallbearers will be his grandchildren as well as Myranda Sanchez, Edel Villescas, John Austin, Ted Padilla, and Johnathan Martinez, Rubel Romero. The family of Tony C.
