Tonie T. - Rio Chiquito Lopez

Tonie T. Lopez – born on June 25th, 1935 of Rio Chiquito passed away following a lengthy illness on Sunday, July 10, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents: Marcos and Higinia Trujillo; sister, Tina and husband Albino Trujillo; brother-in-law, Dimas Vigil; and brothers: Reyes Trujillo and Esquipula Trujillo. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Jose A. Lopez; sister, Dulcinea Vigil; children: Velma and Ernie Montoya of Cordova, Floyd and Yvonne Lopez of Albuquerque, Peter and Carolyn Lopez of Rio Chiquito, Judy and Michael Sanchez of La Puebla, Rachel and Joseph Valdez of Rio Chama, Charlene and Rafael Valdepena of Albuquerque and Martha and Kenny Espinosa of Los Alamos; grandchildren: Willie Montoya and Janelle Heimberger, Marcos and Germaine Montoya, Joseph and Deliliah Lopez, Valerie and Jeff Lopez, Niko, Justin and Shell Martinez, Stephanie and Oscar Gonzalez, Victoria Lopez, Christopher and Mariah Sanchez, Joseph Jr., Jessica, Joshua Valdez (Godson) and Dalene Lucero, Jeremy, David, Jessica Valdepeña and Isaiah and Marina Espinosa; great-grandchildren: Alexandria, Anastasia, Aaliyah, Khloe Montoya, Delisha, Jolissa, Joella Lopez, Nikkoli Lates, Sebastian Gonzalez, Baby Lopez; and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo with burial to follow at Rio Chiquito Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers her grandsons: Willie and Marcos Montoya, Joseph Lopez, Oscar Gonzalez, Christopher Sanchez, Joshua Valdez, Joseph Valdez, Jr., Jeremy and David Valdepeña and Isaiah Espinosa.
