Obituary

Tomas M. “DeeDee “Ramirez, age 46, a resident of Chimayo, NM, passed away unexpectedly on June 2nd, 2026. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. 

Tomas “DeeDee enjoyed playing basketball, going for rides on the four wheelers with his wife and children. He was full of life and always had a smile on his face. He always made time for his family and friends. He Cherished his Baby girl “ Antionette” he was very proud of her accomplishments and adored his sons with all his heart.

Tomas “DeeDee “was preceded in death by his companion Joylin Martinez; his daughter Angel Ramirez; father Tomas Ramirez Sr.; mother Orlinda F. Martinez; maternal grandparents Antonio and Gregoria Martinez; brothers Johnny R. Martinez and Jesse E. Martinez; uncles Louie, Gerson and Gilberto Martinez (Olga); aunts Lorraine and Lucresia Martinez; wife – mother of his oldest son and Daughter Clarissa Ramirez, Angel Trujillo; nephews Evan and Jaron Martinez; grandnephew baby Johnny R. Martinez; cousins Benjie, Renee, Donna, Anthony Martinez and Tomas Moya.

Tomas “DeeDee enjoyed playing basketball, going for rides on the four wheelers with his wife and children. He was full of life and always had a smile on his face. He always made time for his family and friends. He Cherished his Baby girl “ Antionette” he was very proud of her accomplishments and adored his sons with all his heart.

Tomas “DeeDee “is survived by his sons Antonio, Andres and baby Martinez; daughter Antionette’; step-daughter Angel Martinez; nephews Javon, Edward (Sydnee), Jared (Rebecca), Austin and Ambros Dominguez; niece Angel Trujillo; sister-in- law Elena Martinez and Andrea Dominguez; cousins Caroline (Marvin), Gilbert Martinez, and many gran-nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family members and friends in Chimayo and Albuquerque who will deeply miss him.

Services are pending.

Pallbearers: Antonio Ramirez, Javon Martinez, Edward Martinez and Jared Martinez.
