THEODORE “NATHAN” LOVATO, 54, a resident of Chimayo, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 10, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Lovato; sister, Delilah Padilla; brother-in-law, Louie Ulibarri. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and just being outdoors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Theodore is survived by his companion, Stephanie Martinez; children, Tara Martinez (David), Theodore Lovato II, Felicia Grant (Devin), Mandi Leon; 5 grandchildren; father, Ben Lovato; brother, Emilio Ortega, sisters, Irene Ulibarri, Guadalupe Ortiz, and Rosita Crawford; mother, Lucy Lovato; mother-in-law, Beatrice Abeyta; sister-in-law, Annette (Tomas Quezada) and many uncles, aunts and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a Memorial Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. The family of Theodore “Nathan” Lovato has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
