Theodore Christopher Lobato, aka Lolo (east side of cattle guard) and Ted (west side of cattle guard), has passed away peacefully at his home in Canjilon, on February 25, 2022. He was born on May 25, 1969 to Atocha Vigil and Jack Lobato.

Ted/Lolo is known for his love of his Momma, Dallas Cowboys and “Gods Country, his beautiful Canjilon”. He is also known for his jokes and sarcasm. He loved to make you laugh and had quick come backs. He was always there to lend a helping hand to his family and friends with whatever they needed. Whether it would be helping with cows, with hay, going for wood, even cooking, he was there with a smile and all his sarcastic remarks. He will greatly be missed by many.

Ted/Lolo is survived by his son Christopher Lobato and daughter Courtney (Ian) Ortiz. God daughters Kayla Vialpando and Jada Baldonado. Siblings Rubina Vigil, Lawrence Vigil, Norman (Rosalie) Vigil, Wayne (Berna) Vigil, Brenda Vigil, Jacqueline (Phil) Martinez, Stephen Vigil, Patsy Martinez, Diane Carpenter, and Katrina Lobato. Nieces and Nephews Karen (his “little sis”}, Chandel (Rosendo), Laura (Ronnie), Norman (Abby), Thomas (Lisa), Vidal (Jayme) Aquilino (Alisha), Joshua (Jenae), Lorenzo (Maria), Darren, Tosha, Stephanie, Natalie, and Ross. Many Great and great great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his godson Joshua; His special friend Audrey Jaramillo of 16 years as well as his Special friends he considered his bothers Gustavo Martinez, Daren Chacon, Eric Jacquez, Alex Leyba and Davey (Dowsa) Martinez.

Serving pallbearers are his best friend Gustavo and his nephews Norman, Thomas, Vidal, Aquilino, Joshua, Lorenzo, Darren and Ross.

Services will begin on Saturday march 12, 2022 with a Rosary at 9:00am and Mass starting at 10:00am at the San Juan Nepomuceno Church in Canjilo, with burial to follow at the Canjilo Community Cemetery
