Teddy passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, after a short and aggressive illness. He was surrounded with an abundance of love from those who loved him and those with him in spirit.

Teddy was preceded in death by our dad Joe O. Cordova and our sister Patricia V. Cordova; paternal and maternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles; father-in-law Obedio J. Cebada and brother-in-law Jarold Cebada.

Teddy is survived by his children: Joshua and Mila (Jodee) Cordova and Jacob Cebada; grandchildren: Drake, Joshua Jr., and Alaiya; life partner and mother of his children Jennifer Cebada. He is also survived by our mom Shirley M. Cordova and his mother-in-law Martha Cebada; siblings: Elvira (Lamar), Sammy Joe (Lynn), Esperanza and Jacob, Ovita Duran (Tony) and Genevieve Herrera (Mel); nieces and Nephews: Ashley and Jeremy Apodaca, Matthew Romero, Madeline, Nathaniel (Mikaela), Tyler and Lucas Cordova. Crystal (Todd), Alisha (Jose), Elijah (Taylor) and Brittany Duran, Jerry Jr. and Theresa Trujillo, Kevin and Diane Coca; great nieces and nephews: Aryana, Jaelyn and Jeremiah; Amara; Todd Jr., Taos and Thanos; Tierra, Kevin Jr., and Kersha; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Teddy was born in Espanola, NM, on May 5, 1974. He graduated from Coronado High School in Gallina, NM, and went on to explore a short military career. He worked in the logging industry for the majority of his life after that. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Fishing and going to the mountains, watching movies and time with his grandbabies were some of his favorite pass times. He also had a knack for cooking and making knives. He enjoyed fixing things and often had a few projects going on at one time. He also sometimes enjoyed an Atlanta Braves baseball game. Teddy was always willing to lend a hand.

Teddy left us with many fond, humorous and cherished memories but also some life lessons. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts but we are consoled that he left a life full of uncertainty into the loving arms of our heavenly father.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday; June 27, 2025, at 10:00 am at Christian Faith Fellowship in Gallina, NM, with burial to follow at our family plot.

Food will be served at the old Gallina gymnasium after the funeral service and the family extends an invitation to join us.

Serving as Pallbearers: Leroy Cordova and Leroy Gonzales. Honorary Pallbearers are his siblings.
