Teresita Martinez

TERESITA C. MARTINEZ , a lifelong resident of Medanales, went to be with our Lord on Christmas Eve at the age of 72 years old after a long-term illness. She was born on June 21, 1948 to Max and Ramona Martinez of Medanales. She was a devoted Catholic.  She loved her family dearly.  Her favorite pastime was telling stories with family and friends.  Everyone was welcome to stop by for a cup of coffee, cookies and to tell a story.  She looked forward to daily visits by family and going to the store with her sister. Teresita is survived by her sister/caretaker, Rosemary Maestas; three brothers, William (Georgia), Paul (Angela) and Max (Geraldine); favorite cousin, Bernie Sanchez and many nieces, nephews and many friends. Private services will be held. The family of Teresita C. Martinez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
