Teresa Medina

Teresa (Tere) Medina, 86, a resident of Alcalde, NM, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. 

Tere was preceded in death by her husband Joe E. Medina; parents Lino Jr. and Leonarda Trujillo, from Costilla, NM; grandparents Lino Sr. and Lucia Trujillo who raised her; Infant son Joseph Medina; grandson Brian Medina; great-granddaughter Jenai Espinoza; foster daughter Christine Archuleta; sisters: Jeanette (Leroy) Archuleta, Mina (Tony) Cordova and Lucia Salazar; brothers Carlos and Bobby Trujillo. 

She is survived by her Children: Joylene (Vincent) Valdez and Joey Medina of Alcalde, Joseph Dale (Ruby) Medina of Espanola; grandchildren Fabian (Donna) Valdez, Marcos Valdez. David Valdez and Diserae (Ty) Lujan of Alcalde, Deanna (Jeff) Saba of Westminster, CO., Jennifer (James) Espinoza of Mora, Joseph and Matthew Medina Espanola, NM, Amanda and Sarah Medina Denver, CO; great-grandchildren Steven and Joshua Saba, James and Sarah Espinoza, Tyson and Logan Lujan, Hannah and Felice Gallegos. Kaitlyn Thomas’ great-great grandchildren Nicholas, Lucas and Autumn Espinoza and Danny Gilbert Esquibel lll; sisters Augustina Archuleta and Tonita (Franklin) Manchego; sister-in-law Tina Trujillo of Albuquerque, Lena Medina Pueblo, CO; and brother-in-law Cippy Salazar Costilla.

A Rosary will take place Friday, January 31, 2025, at San Juan De Bautista Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh NM, at 11:00am, with a Mass to follow at 11:30am. Burial Will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
