Theadore Andrew Salazar ("Ted" Salazar), Age 61, of Espanola, New Mexico, passed away on May 13, 2026.

Ted was born on October 1, 1964, in Espanola, New Mexico. In his younger years, he was known for his craftsmanship with wood and his culinary skills. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends sharing his favorite recipes with them. Ted also loved animals and enjoyed their companionship throughout his life.

Ted was preceded in death by his mother, Donelia A. Roybal; his father, Joe A. Salazar; his brother, Aaron Fredrick Salazar; and his sister, Pablita Maria Salazar.

He is survived by his sister, Pepita Wilkinson; her husband, Dean Wilkinson; and their children, Michaelyne Wilkinson and Lincoln Wilkinson.

A small gathering will be held on June 28, 2026, from 1:30-3pm at Christian Life Church, 121 Siringo RD Santa Fe, NM. He will be interred with his mother, father and siblings.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an Animal Sanctuary or Rescue Organization, or to a Woodworking or Culinary program in Ted's memory.

Ted will be remembered with love and greatly missed.
