With a sad heart, we announce the passing of our beloved Sylvia.

Sylvia was a devoted catholic, praying her daily rosary, attending mass. She had a deep devotion to our blessed Mother Virgin Mary, Saint Jude and Holy Water. She would go to the morada for Good Friday and the Santuario de Chimayo were special times in her life.

Sylvia was born in Santo Nino, NM,. She grew up always working and going to help her mother and father for the love of both of them.

A graduate of Santa Cruz High School Crusaders. Sylvia worked at Rio Grande Drug Store, Yates Cooperation Hardware and Jemez Mountain Electric where she retired. She loved life, especially her birthday. She would say that she missed being a New Year's baby by one day. She loved her time cooking, camping, dancing, picking pinon or just having a good time. Sylvia made many friends and enjoyed talking and respecting one and all. You will be greatly missed, but now you are resting in peace.

God bless you for your home in heaven with our Mother Blessed Virgin Mary and Blessed St. Jude.
