Steven Joseph Martinez Born July 10th, 1981, was called to be with our heavenly father on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 44.

He is preceded in death by his maternal Grandparents Adeliado Martinez and Maria Santos Martinez Paternal Grandparents Roberto Martinez and Frances Martinez.

Steven was well known throughout the beautiful Espanola Valley and a hard worker. He worked as a handy man, landscaper, and his final job was working for Rancho de Chimayo Restaurant, which he really enjoyed.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a lowrider enthusiast, he really loved hopping his cars. Steven dearly loved his children, brothers’ and sister, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Martinez, Son, Steven Martinez Jr, Parents Robert & Irene Martinez, Brothers Michael Gonzales, Robert Martinez (Sandra Abeyta) Sister Crystal Martinez, and Nephew’s Irin Martinez, Dominic Martinez, and Niece’s Chyenne Martinez & Cristen Martinez Springfield.

Rosary and funeral Mass will be on May 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. At Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz New Mexico. Burial will be held at a later date.
