Steven Joseph Martinez, born July 10, 1981, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 44. He is the son of Mary Irene Martinez and Nelson R Martinez. 

He worked for Rancho de Chimayo Restaurant. He enjoyed riding motor cycles and was a lowrider enthusiast. Steven loved his children, brothers and sister, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Adeliado Martinez and Maria Santos Martinez, grandfather Roberto Martinez and Frances Martinez and Robert Jaramillo.

Rosary and Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz, New Mexico. Burial will held at a later date.
