Steven Garduno

STEVEN DANIEL GARDUÑO, 40, a resident of Nambe Pueblo, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alejandro and Aurelia Garduño; maternal grandparents, Emedardo and Martha Romero; brother Carlos Garduño Jr., Uncle Guillermo Garduño and many other relatives.

Steve was a simple man, who adored his children.  He lived for his babies and was a wonderful daddy.  He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Graciella, Adelina, and, Estevan Garduño; and, his grandchildren, Daniel and Gabriel Aragon. He is also survived by his mother and father Carlos and Theresa Garduño; his brother, James (Michelle) Garduño; his uncles, Joe (Peggy) Romero, and Joaquin Garduño; and, his aunts, Virginia (Bernie) Trujillo, Mary Louise (Gordon) Betancourt, and Sandra (Damian) Sena.  He was fond of and loved Antoinette and Arianna Chavarria, and thought of them as his own children.

A rosary will be recited on April 5, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. and a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Nambe Pueblo Church, burial to follow at the Nambe Pueblo Cemetery.  The church is mandating masks for the service.
