Stefanie Salazar

Stefanie Salazar, 34, a resident of El Rancho, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Teofilo Vigil; brother, Dean Salazar, and uncle, Alfred Espinoza. Stefanie was employed as a computer technician with Los Alamos National Lab which she loved doing. She was an amazing mother to her children and was a loving person to all she knew. She would always give a helping hand and always putting other people first before herself. Stefanie is survived by the love of her life her son, Alejandro Teofilo; children, Mark Jr, Patrick, and Isabelle; parents, Linda Salazar and Edward Valencia; grandmother, Esther R. Vigil; siblings, David Salazar (Gina), Doreen Archuleta (Wayne), Bonita, Dean, and Marissa Salazar; father, David Salazar; aunts, Sophie Vigil (Walter) and Roseanne Vigil (Phillip); cousins, Larry Espinoza (Deirdre) and their children, Shenisha and Honey; Eva Espinoza, Javier Vigil (Jamie) and their children Sebastian and Dominic (God-sons); Roberto Vigil (Anna) and their child Marianna (God-daughter) and God-son Jacob. Along with other numerous relatives and special friends. Public visitation will begin on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque, with a rosary to be recited at 11:00 a.m. and a Mass to follow at 12:00 p.m. The family of Stefanie Salazar has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
