Sandra Ann Calvert, daughter of the late Jose Felix and Maria Reycita Calvert, was born on July 25, 1961, and was called home on May 13, 2026. She was the third oldest of six children and was raised with strong family values that she carried throughout her life.

Sandra was reunited in eternal rest with her beloved son, Jessy, and her parents, Jose Felix and Maria Reycita Calvert.

Sandra was born in Santa Fe, NM and lived her entire life in Ohkay Owingeh, NM. She was a proud graduate of Santa Fe Indian School, Class of 1980. During the summer of 1980, she met the love of her life, Ricky Shroulote Sr., and together they built a life centered on love, family, and devotion. Together, they welcomed three sons: Jessy, Jason, and Ricky Jr.

Sandra was more than a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend — she was the heart of her family. Anyone who crossed paths with Sandra was fortunate to know her kindness, warmth, and caring spirit. Her love touched many lives.

She is survived by the love of her life, Ricky Shroulote Sr.; her two sons, Jason Shroulote (Jennika) and Ricky Shroulote Jr. (Ralanda); her grandchildren, Sydney (Josh), Joycelyn, Kaylee, Gabriela, Ricky III, Natalie, Jett, and Logan; her only great-grandson, LJ; her siblings, Phyllis (the late Chester Aguino), Craig (Thelma), Rexine (Lemuel), Anna (David), and Monica Calvert; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends. Sandra was deeply loved and supported by the mothers of her grandchildren, Heather and Melanie, who remained present in her life and shared in her care and love for family.

Her love, strength, and memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services

A Mass honoring Sandra’s life was held on Wednesday, May 14, 2026, at San Juan Bautista Parish Church, where family and loved ones gathered to celebrate her life and share in her memory, with burial following thereafter.
