Salome "Mae" B. Age - 71 Española Manzanares

Salome “Mae” B. Manzanares, 71, a resident of Española passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gomicinda and Enrique Baca; in-laws, Alejandro and Adolfa Manzanares; nephew raised as a son, Jose “Hachi” Gallegos; son-in-laws: Michael Salazar and Greg Lopez. Salome is survived by her loving husband, Leo Manzanares of Española; children: Leonard Manzanares and wife Arlene of Rio Rancho, Charlene Salazar and late husband Michael of Española, Daphanie Lopez and late husband Greg of Chili; grandchildren: Ashley Salazar and companion Flavio Gonzales of Española, Leah Lopez of Chili, Michelle Salazar of Medanales, Suzette Gonzales of Rio Rancho, Jeremy Gonzales and wife LouDonna of Santa Fe; great-grandchildren: Kryshauna and Jenika Salazar of Española, Jordan Trujillo of Medanales, Donovan Gonzales of Santa Fe; brothers & sisters: Aquilino Baca and wife Dolores of Canjilon, Enrique Baca and wife Edna of Colorado, Bernie Gallegos of Española, Fabiola Sandoval of Santa Fe, Adela Martinez of Canjilon, Sabina Archuleta and husband Manuel of Colorado; brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws: Waldo Manzanares of Alcalde, David Manzanares and wife Pamela of Medanales, Adelido Manzanares and wife Reyes of Española, Sally Rodriguez and husband Carlos of Rio Rancho, Viola Bailey and husband Lestor of Santa Fe, Fidencia Candelaria and husband Agapito of Tierra Amarilla; numerous other relatives & friends. Public visitation will held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a Wake and Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española with burial to follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery.
