Ruben Jason Montoya

Jason (39) was a fun and loving husband, father, brother and son. He made the best of any situation whether it was good or bad. He loved being a coach for little league, coaching sons-Jesus, Joshua and daughter, Maria, nieces-Desi and Larissa, he loved to fish or host a Matanza or brunch/dinner with his family and siblings. Jason learned all he could from his good friend and mentor, Jeff Griego (plumber).

Preceding him in death, his brother, Marcos and mother-in-law, Louise. Surviving him- his wife- Ila and his children- Samantha, Maria, James, Luciano, Joshua, Jesus and God-daughter- Kimberly. Sister-Sarah (Kevin), brother-Jose (Candi), mom- Joyce Lujan (Ray), grandmothers- Josina Ortiz and Emily Lujan, father-in-law- Leroy Valdez and dad-Jacob Montoya.

A rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at the New Fire Assembly/River of Life on the Los Alamos Highway on January 31st, 2022. Interment will be at El Campo Santo de la Cruz in El Rancho.
