Ruben J Bustos

Ruben Joseph Bustos "Juice" 80, a longtime resident of Ranchitos went to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior on September 26, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Rosenaldo and Lugardita Bustos, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Casey Jimenez, brothers Ross, Raymond, David and Andrew Bustos and special nephew Bobby Garcia Jr. Ruben is survived by his sisters Lucy Martinez (Andres), Orlinda Martinez (Emett), Bernadette Trujillo (Joe), Patricia Martinez (Del), Rosemary Rolon, Ruth Dupree (Joseph), Joanne Twibell (Carl), and Josephine Salazar (Gary).  Also, sister-in-law Helen Bustos and Ana Mae Salazar and many nephews and nieces.  

Ruben was a rancher and farmer most of his life.  He loved to go fishing and hunting.  His favorite pastime is sitting in his recliner and watching old western movies.  He was always there for everyone who needed a hand.  He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.

Thank you to Gary who was his caregiver for many years, as if he was his own brother.

Services will take place at Santa Cruz de la Canada Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, New Mexico on Saturday, October 15, 2022.  A Rosary will begin at 2:00 pm with a Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 pm, followed by Interment Service at  the Santa Cruz Cemetery.
