Rosalia (Rose) M. Trujillo - Age 80 of Chimayo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt passed away on June 15, 2010 after a lengthy illness. \r\nShe is preceded in death by her husband: Ralph R. Trujillo; parents: Enrique and Adela Macias; aunt, Herminia Calvo; brothers: Joe, Ben, and Raymond Macias and sister, Magdalena Wing.\r\nShe is survived by her sons: John Trujillo, Leonard Eloy Trujillo and wife Anita, Tim Trujillo and wife Teri, Ralph Trujillo Jr., Ron Trujillo and fiancée Kristina Fernandez, Ray Trujillo and wife Michelle; brothers: Anthony, Thomas, and Ralph Macias; sisters: Carmen Connor, Flora Phillips, Eleanor Ramsey, and Valentina Turman; grandsons: Justin, Jeremy, Ryan, and Enrique Trujillo; granddaughters: Lindsay, Ambre, Misty, Ciarra, Siena, and Nicole Trujillo and Tamyra Kirkland; great-grand children: Jacob Trujillo, Kaydence Arrey, RaeLynn Dominguez, Aurora and Gwenyvere Trujillo and Hardy Kirkland; and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.\r\nRose was a loving wife and mother of six sons. Rose was born and raised in Agana, Guam. In 1951 Rose was named Guam Militia Liberation Queen, which later attracted the likes of a young Air Force soldier stationed in Guam named Ralph, her husband of 52 years. She moved to Chimayo in 1967 and became a well known orchardist with her husband providing fruit as a vendor to various Farmers Markets in Northern New Mexico as well as selling fruit at her fruit stand in Chimayo. Rose was very involved with the churches in Chimayo and taught catechism classes at Holy Family church for many years. Rose was a very good cook and delighted many friends and relatives with her various Guamanian dishes. She will always be in our hearts and dearly missed.\r\nThe pallbearers are her sons, John, Leonard Eloy, Tim, Ralph, Ron and Ray Trujillo. Honorary pallbearers are all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.\r\nPublic visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Burial will take place on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. \r\nThe family of Rosalia M.
