Ronald Lee - Age 68 - La Mesilla Stewart

Ronald Lee Stewart – Age 68 a resident of La Mesilla passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents: Woodrow (Pete) Stewart and Alice Mae Stewart; his twin brother, Donald Ray Stewart; and a brother, Larry W. Stewart. Mr. Stewart was a carpet installer and worked for the Española Schools. He was a generous, loving and caring father dedicated to his work and was well known in the community and will be missed by his loved ones. He is survived by his son, Gary Stewart of La Mesilla; step-sons: Chris Moya and companion Kathy Leyba of Nambe, Steve Martinez and wife Dianna of Chamita, Norman Martinez and wife Patricia of La Mesilla and Ronnie Martinez and companion Raylene of Nambe; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Wilma Stewart of Ohio; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends. A memorial will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Peace at the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
