d. May 16, 2025

Los Alamos

Rodney Max Dominguez, born on April 27, 1967, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025.

Rodney was a well-known and respected carpenter; a true wood artist whose craftsmanship and creativity left a lasting mark on every project he touched. His passion for his work was only matched by the love he had for his family and friends.

Rodney was a devoted husband, a proud and loving father, a caring brother, and a loyal friend to many. He had an incredible heart and a personality full of life, always willing to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer words of encouragement. Rodney made everyone feel welcome, and his presence brought comfort, joy, and strength to those around him. He will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege to know him.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Criselda Dominguez; father-in-law, Horacio Segura; brothers Ramon (and wife Maria) and Richard; sisters Ruth Martinez and Renee Cutter-Espinoza; and aunts Tia Lydia Jordan and Rita Montoya.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Dominguez; his children, Jarod, Damion (Alize), Jonathon, Joshon, Jacobo, and Goddaughter Harmony. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Emily Segura; siblings Edith Trujillo (Armando), Ralph, Russell (Cemele), Robin, Randy, Ryan (Jeanette), and Rachelle (Christian); and in-laws Felix Segura (Teressa), Barbara (Pat), Eugene (Margaret), and David. Rodney leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom he loved dearly.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Ambercare Hospice team for their compassionate care, especially Nurse Anna Mae Dixon and Social Worker Janice Trujillo. We are deeply grateful to his brother, Ryan Dominguez, whose constant love, strength, and selfless care meant so much. Thank you as well to all the friends and family whose love, prayers, and kindness have brought us comfort during this difficult time.

His legacy will live on through the love he gave, the family he cherished, and the lives he touched.
