Rochelle Renee Lineberry, 58, born and raised in Espanola, NM, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 13th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Rochelle was preceded in death by her parents Rosebella & Ray Lineberry; grandparents; Jose Larkin Gallegos and Amada “Molly” Roybal, Granny Jean Colbert; aunts and uncles Pauline Herrera, Buddy Gallegos, Joseph Gallegos, & Mary Ann “Chata”, Lopez, cousin; Christi Herrera, Laurice Gonzales, Jackie Gonzales, Rocky Gonzales, Mark Garcia, Sarah Hart, Deborah Gallegos, Norma Jean, Jessica, & JoJo Gallegos; and the fathers of her oldest children James Montoya and Larry Martinez.
She is survived by her children Justin Lineberry (Veronica), Alcea “Amanda” Rose (Micah), & Tru Zamora, grandson Legend Lineberry; Brother Randy Flores (Delia); nephew Rowan Flores and niece Katlyn Rodriguez, aunt Loretta Gonzales; close cousins Diahann Cordova (Richard), Gary Maestas (Donna);Tru’s father and grandmother, Nico & Mable Zamora, and numerous other cousins, relatives, and friends who loved her dearly.
Rochelle graduated from Pojoaque Valley High in 1985 and had a gift with words and a love for poetry. Her professional life consisted of various administrative jobs with the State of New Mexico. Her magnetic and easygoing charisma made anyone, even complete strangers, feel comfortable and completely open in her presence. This uniqueness, not to mention her striking sense of humor, always guaranteed a genuine conversation that never ended without at least one good laugh. She was a social butterfly who loved to spend time with her friends & family as often as possible. She treated each moment of her life like an adventure, and her lighthearted wit was always her silver lining on cloudy days when life's challenges appeared, even during her toughest battles. Rochelle’s life was never without the love of a canine companion. There were several lucky dogs throughout her life that she loved and cherished and these bonds always formed naturally and effortlessly.
Rochelle has left everlasting and deep impressions on those who loved her, and although she will be missed, she has left us with a lifetime of memories that will live on in our hearts forever.
A Memorial Service for Rochelle will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 3:00 pm at the Advent Life Church (62 A Van Nu Po, Santa Fe, NM). A private burial will be held at a later date.
